Director of Surveying

Wolverine Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to become the Director of Surveying Operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in surveying. Applicant must have comprehensive knowledge in ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, construction staking, Michigan County re-monumentation program, preparation of legal descriptions, easements and plats, project management, coordination of multiple field crews and business development.  Competitive pay and benefits.

Survey Crew Chief

Wolverine Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. has an opening for an experienced survey crew chief with a minimum of 3 years' experience in construction staking, topographic design surveys and boundary surveying. Experience with Trimble Survey Controllers, GPS and robotic total stations is highly desired but not mandatory. Some overnight travel may be required.

Geotechnical Staff Engineer

Entry-level staff engineer position requires BSCE degree with emphasis in geotechnical engineering. Character traits sought include diligence, initiative, flexibility, and dependability. Candidate should have strong geotechnical knowledge combined with effective oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with geotechnical analysis software, AutoCAD Civil 3-D, GIS, and other general applications, is also desirable. Prior work experience not required (1 to 2 years experience preferred).


Work assignments will entail performing geotechnical review and analysis for various private and public work projects. Position includes field and laboratory training involving site exploration, site assessments, earthwork construction and geotechnical monitoring.
